Marcelo Eger started the match with the kick off. Júnior Alagoano charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Júnior Alagoano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Júnior Alagoano kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Club Getafe Deportivo's Doni Seco threw himself towards the right post 4 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mahoma Abrego, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Renato Rivera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelo Eger, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mahoma Abrego in the 14th minute of play forced Castanheiro SC's goalkeeper Doni Seco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Renato Rivera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Eger in the 15th minute of play. 26 minutes into the game, Mahoma Abrego recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Doni Seco. Mahoma Abrego showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Doni Seco was a little too slow when Mahoma Abrego got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 31st minute. The score was now 2-0. Ugaitz Japón received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Doni Seco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mahoma Abrego was the one to do the kick off. Egoitz Companys's late challenge caught a Castanheiro SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Egoitz Companys helped the player get up and apologised. In the 55th match minute, Club Getafe Deportivo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egoitz Companys to maneuver through the defense. If Mauro Sarmento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mauro Sarmento took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Renato Rivera. Renato Rivera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. After a rather tough play, Castanheiro SC's Ulisses Senna got a free kick in the 65th minute. After 68 played minutes Mauro Sarmento rounded Club Getafe Deportivo's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-2. In the 70th minute Mauro Sarmento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renato Rivera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th minute, Castanheiro SC's Marcelo Eger dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-3. If Telmo da Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Club Getafe Deportivo getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Mahoma Abrego hit a great ball. After 84 played minutes Castanheiro SC got a freekick which was hit by Serafim Cearense. After a rather tough play, Castanheiro SC's Telmo da Fonseca got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 90th minute, Marcelo Eger reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Renato Rivera. The goal made the score 3-4. In the 95th minute Marcelo Eger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renato Rivera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Castanheiro SC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
