Isidoro Mangas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Raimundo Delgado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17th minute, Arnalt Ortiz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The VILLARREAL UNITED fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Raimundo Delgado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnalt Ortiz in the 20th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Tomás Cerqueira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Garanhão do SUL fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Patrício Poças fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tome Campoamor having to interfere. After 40 played minutes, Garanhão do SUL's José Conde shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tome Campoamor came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Garanhão do SUL reached it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Isidoro Mangas in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Raimundo Delgado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 47th match minute, VILLARREAL UNITED was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnalt Ortiz to maneuver through the defense. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Raimundo Delgado was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Isidoro Mangas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 84 minute of play. Luis-Javier Alavedra had several of the Garanhão do SUL's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 89 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-4 score and a disappointed Raimundo Delgado as he didn't even see the shot coming. 96 minutes into the game, Isidoro Mangas lined in a short shot 1-5 behind a frustrated Raimundo Delgado. VILLARREAL UNITED played a much better game than Garanhão do SUL and deserved their victory. The Garanhão do SUL players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
