Leonardo Romani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidro Millán, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes into the match, CD Boiro's goalkeeper Walme Ortega had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antero Vadillos. After 19 played minutes Club Deportivo O IRIXO got a freekick which was hit by Antero Vadillos. The supporters of Club Deportivo O IRIXO booed when CD Boiro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ceandro Ocaña didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mariano Canal lost his temper 23 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Mariano Canal kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Duarte Morientes sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Club Deportivo O IRIXO's Leonardo Romani didn't even have to move. If Adán Cuevas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonardo Romani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adán Cuevas in the 27th minute of play. Josu Pabon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Walme Ortega showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iosu Toledo in the 35th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Club Deportivo O IRIXO's Iosu Toledo got a free kick in the 38th minute. 43 minutes into the game, Andrés-Fernando Gonzalvez recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Walme Ortega. Andrés-Fernando Gonzalvez showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in CD Boiro's zone, Andrés-Fernando Gonzalvez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Walme Ortega came out of the goal and Andrés-Fernando Gonzalvez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adán Cuevas to make the kick off. Leonardo Romani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Israel Muelas in the 52nd minute of the match. After having played for 56 minutes, Andrés-Fernando Gonzalvez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Deportivo O IRIXO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andrés-Fernando Gonzalvez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Club Deportivo O IRIXO booed when CD Boiro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfons Montero didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 62nd minute, Andrés-Fernando Gonzalvez made a precise shot to the right of Walme Ortega. CD Boiro's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. In the 69th minute, Andrés-Fernando Gonzalvez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Deportivo O IRIXO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. A collision led to CD Boiro getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Isidro Millán hit a great ball. Andrés-Fernando Gonzalvez scored 5-0 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Walme Ortega, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 80th minute, Josu Pabon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Walme Ortega was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Ilixo Verdeja's late challenge caught a Club Deportivo O IRIXO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ilixo Verdeja helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Club Deportivo O IRIXO booed when CD Boiro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ilixo Verdeja didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in CD Boiro's zone, Andrés-Fernando Gonzalvez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Walme Ortega came out of the goal and Andrés-Fernando Gonzalvez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leonardo Romani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ceandro Ocaña, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Club Deportivo O IRIXO fully deserved thier win.
