Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amancio Orozco in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cayetano Esdras prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Victoriano Ibañez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baldemer Abrego charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Baldemer Abrego the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 15th minute, Baldemer Abrego hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of De Boedo Vengo booed when Club Getafe Deportivo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oihan Benito didn't get a good kick on the ball. Renato Rivera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victoriano Ibañez, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. 42 minutes into the game, Jacques Huerta recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cayetano Esdras. Jacques Huerta showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Jacques Huerta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cayetano Esdras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amancio Orozco in the 46th minute of play. In the 48th minute of the match Club Getafe Deportivo got a corner. De Boedo Vengo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Peru Cartagena ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Club Getafe Deportivo's corner Peru Cartagena fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Cayetano Esdras quite easily take care of the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Amancio Orozco to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Club Getafe Deportivo's Xano Caminero got a free kick in the 55th minute. Amadeo Gomesano kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. After some careless play in the De Boedo Vengo defense, Jacques Huerta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cayetano Esdras. The De Boedo Vengo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cayetano Esdras should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peru Cartagena in the 64th minute of play forced De Boedo Vengo's goalkeeper Cayetano Esdras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 66 minutes, Oihan Benito mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Getafe Deportivo and the De Boedo Vengo players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 66 played minutes Club Getafe Deportivo got a freekick which was hit by Oihan Benito. Cayetano Esdras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacques Huerta, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 71st minute, Nicasio Bartoleme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Xanti Urruti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cayetano Esdras having to interfere. Peru Cartagena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Cayetano Esdras tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amancio Orozco scored 4-1 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cayetano Esdras, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the De Boedo Vengo defense, Amancio Orozco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cayetano Esdras. The De Boedo Vengo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cayetano Esdras should have stopped the shot. There was no doubt that Club Getafe Deportivo were the better team. Club Getafe Deportivo's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
