The audience thought a goal was coming when Orti Sánchez got free with Ariel Mourelatos in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by Amboy FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Xinto Palencia was slow to take the kick. During this time Fillos de Breogán's players had a chance to rest. The crowd rose to their feet as Orti Sánchez kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ariel Mourelatos. That made the score 1-1 in the 19 minute of play. Garibaldo Quijana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mario Alberto Abascal, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 25 minutes into the match, Amboy FC's goalkeeper Ariel Mourelatos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Orti Sánchez. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zacarias Goleš in the 29th minute of play forced Fillos de Breogán's goalkeeper Garibaldo Quijana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Orti Sánchez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Amboy FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Sture Raknes hit a great ball. In the 33rd minute, Xinto Palencia fired a really elegant long shot, but Ariel Mourelatos threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Calisto Abril in the 36th minute of play forced Amboy FC's goalkeeper Ariel Mourelatos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zacarias Goleš in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Garibaldo Quijana prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Alberto Abascal in the 42nd minute of play forced Fillos de Breogán's goalkeeper Garibaldo Quijana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xabat Armada kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Jacinto Naelio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Garibaldo Quijana made a huge save. After 67 minutes Fillos de Breogán's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Nicanor Mendiko who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Jacinto Naelio heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Ariel Mourelatos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Augusto Mandrak in the 70th minute of play. Ariel Mourelatos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xesus Galaiko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After taking down the ball on Fillos de Breogán's corner Xinto Palencia fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ariel Mourelatos quite easily take care of the ball. Garibaldo Quijana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Alberto Abascal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amboy FC's attentive Atilano Mantzio managed to snatch the ball when Waldemar Olszewski made a throw-in in the 78th minute of the game. Fillos de Breogán's Garibaldo Quijana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán in the 80th minute of play. Ariel Mourelatos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reno Wilmots, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fillos de Breogán made a substitution. Xoan Galaiko replaced Xesus Galaiko. In the 94th match minute, Fillos de Breogán was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yağızalp Ulaş to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán in the 95th minute of play forced Fillos de Breogán's goalkeeper Garibaldo Quijana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute of the match Amboy FC got a corner. Fillos de Breogán's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nicanor Mendiko ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Nicanor Mendiko almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Fillos de Breogán's Garibaldo Quijana did a great save. Amboy FC played a much better game than Fillos de Breogán and deserved their victory. The Fillos de Breogán players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
