The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 12th minute of the game Llin Villafane made a throw-in which Valentin Voicu played forward. VILLARREAL UNITED's Baraxil Sarrate proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save VILLARREAL UNITED from getting a goal against them. A collision led to AFC FUSION getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Wojciech Fiszer hit a great ball. After 29 minutes VILLARREAL UNITED's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dawid Beckham who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Jan Hop managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 31 minutes into the match, Valentin Voicu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Roberto Eztebe. AFC FUSION's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valentin Voicu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 43 minutes into the game, Mario Sesuldo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AFC FUSION's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave VILLARREAL UNITED the free kick. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Valentin Voicu made the kick off in the second half. Baraxil Sarrate took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lino Rios, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valentin Voicu in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roberto Eztebe saved AFC FUSION from getting behind. Lino Rios fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baraxil Sarrate having to interfere. VILLARREAL UNITED's Nofre Madariaga was substituted for Florian Pruss. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valentin Voicu in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roberto Eztebe saved AFC FUSION from getting behind. In the 76th minute Valentin Voicu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Eztebe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 76 minutes of play, VILLARREAL UNITED's Valentin Voicu made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roberto Eztebe was left in no man's land by his defense there! 79 minutes into the match, AFC FUSION's goalkeeper Roberto Eztebe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nofre Madariaga. Baraxil Sarrate showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dawid Beckham in the 82nd minute of the match. 83 minutes into the game, Christoff Stocks cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Baraxil Sarrate was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Baraxil Sarrate made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lino Rios in the 88th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Romulo Abilio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valentin Voicu's late challenge caught a AFC FUSION's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valentin Voicu helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, VILLARREAL UNITED's Valentin Voicu got a free kick in the 95th minute. After 96 played minutes VILLARREAL UNITED got a freekick which was hit by Valentin Voicu. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched VILLARREAL UNITED eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
