The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A nice corner shot did that Germano Bettencourt got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jairo Castellano quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a defensive mix-up in Club Getafe Deportivo's zone, Germano Bettencourt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jairo Castellano came out of the goal and Germano Bettencourt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 9th minute, Xiao Yang Xuan had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. After 9 minutes, Romulo Abilio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AFC FUSION and the Club Getafe Deportivo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Club Getafe Deportivo made a substitution. Maurinho Mota replaced Xiao Yang Xuan. Club Getafe Deportivo's Jairo Castellano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lino Rios in the 12th minute of play. If Curcio Carballeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jairo Castellano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dawid Beckham, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute, Curcio Carballeira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roberto Eztebe was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 24 minutes into the match, Lino Rios had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jairo Castellano. Club Getafe Deportivo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lino Rios was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. AFC FUSION's Roberto Eztebe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save AFC FUSION from getting a goal against them. AFC FUSION's attentive Jonatan Maidana managed to snatch the ball when Xulian Calvo made a throw-in in the 30th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lino Rios in the 40th minute of play forced Club Getafe Deportivo's goalkeeper Jairo Castellano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roberto Eztebe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Curcio Carballeira in the 45th minute. After a rather tough play, AFC FUSION's Germano Bettencourt got a free kick in the 47th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lino Rios to strike the kick off in the second half. Roberto Eztebe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Curcio Carballeira in the 53rd minute of the match. Laurgain Lama hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. After 66 minutes, Xulian Calvo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Getafe Deportivo and the AFC FUSION players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of AFC FUSION booed when Club Getafe Deportivo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xulian Calvo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Club Getafe Deportivo made a substitution. Víctor Feal replaced Laurgain Lama. Xulian Calvo hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. A collision led to Club Getafe Deportivo getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Xulian Calvo hit a great ball. Lino Rios's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jairo Castellano firmly grabbed it by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dawid Beckham in the 75th minute of play forced Club Getafe Deportivo's goalkeeper Jairo Castellano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jairo Castellano was a little too slow when Guido Txindoki got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 81st minute. The score was now 1-2. AFC FUSION's Jan Hop was substituted for Wojciech Fiszer. AFC FUSION's Christoff Stocks was substituted for Lino Rios. Curcio Carballeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Eztebe having to interfere. When Curcio Carballeira fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Getafe Deportivo's protests and gave Curcio Carballeira a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Club Getafe Deportivo's Curcio Carballeira got a free kick in the 88th minute. Christoff Stocks received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jairo Castellano came out and tried to block the shot, but Christoff Stocks slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 93rd minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. AFC FUSION had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
