Ruperto Modestio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baraxil Sarrate having to interfere. Ariel Mourelatos was a little too slow when Valentin Voicu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 14th minute. The score was now 1-0. Ariel Mourelatos came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by VILLARREAL UNITED's Valentin Voicu. But to his dismay, Valentin Voicu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Baraxil Sarrate showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán in the 22nd minute of the match. After 25 played minutes Amboy FC got a freekick which was hit by Bruce Cornforth. The supporters of VILLARREAL UNITED booed when Amboy FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruce Cornforth didn't get a good kick on the ball. Florian Pruss kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Valentin Voicu made a kick off. Valentin Voicu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ariel Mourelatos having to interfere. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ruperto Modestio got free with Baraxil Sarrate in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Valentin Voicu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ariel Mourelatos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. When Carlitos Paredes fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored VILLARREAL UNITED's protests and gave Carlitos Paredes a yellow card for diving instead. VILLARREAL UNITED made a substitution. Yusuf Kaya replaced Valentin Voicu. 91 minutes into the game, one of VILLARREAL UNITED:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Baraxil Sarrate, was totally fooled by Amboy FC's Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán, who 94 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. VILLARREAL UNITED had won after a very even match.
