Vladimir Tomanov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 9th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimir Tomanov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vladimir Tomanov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 16th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Antonio Arias managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Vladimir Tomanov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 23 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vladimir Tomanov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 27 minutes into the match, Loko Plovdiv's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Vladimir Tomanov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Vladimir Tomanov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vladimir Tomanov didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Agustín Saelices went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Agustín Saelices sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Montenegro got free with Vladimir Tomanov in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nacho Barbutski, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. When Nacho Barbutski fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Loko Plovdiv's protests and gave Nacho Barbutski a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Loko Plovdiv's Nacho Barbutski got a free kick in the 67th minute. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nacho Barbutski, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Loko Plovdiv's Vladimir Tomanov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Loko Plovdiv from getting a goal against them. In the 73rd minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Loko Plovdiv's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Vladimir Tomanov quite easily take care of the ball. With a little luck, Loko Plovdiv's Vladimir Tomanov got control of the ball when Luis Andino tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Nacho Barbutski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Nacho Barbutski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 89th match minute, Loko Plovdiv was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ilcho Argirov to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nacho Barbutski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vladimir Tomanov. Vladimir Tomanov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
