Josue Trüssel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cesar Nalo, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. After some careless play in the Founex FC defense, Cesar Nalo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Josue Trüssel. The Founex FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Josue Trüssel should have stopped the shot. Josue Trüssel was a little too slow when Hector Ospin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 17th minute. The score was now 3-0. After 20 minutes, Justo Fero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Maikolitos and the Founex FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Justo Fero kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Maikolitos's Modesto Gomesano got a free kick in the 22nd minute. After 24 played minutes Maikolitos got a freekick which was hit by Esteban Calvino. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gautier Setz in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ernesto Celio saved Maikolitos from getting behind. Founex FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 30th minute, when Cesar Nalo scored to the left of an out of position Josue Trüssel, making the score, 4-0. In the 35th minute of the match Maikolitos got a corner. Founex FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Blas Hernando ran over to the corner to take the kick. 44 minutes into the game, Esteban Calvino recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Josue Trüssel. Esteban Calvino showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 6-0. In the 48th minute, Gautier Setz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ernesto Celio was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-1 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cesar Nalo to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Founex FC's zone, Cesar Nalo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Josue Trüssel came out of the goal and Cesar Nalo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 55th minute Cesar Nalo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Josue Trüssel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Josue Trüssel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Ovando in the 58th minute of the match. Esteban Calvino charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Esteban Calvino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 60 played minutes Maikolitos got a freekick which was hit by Esteban Calvino. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ernesto Celio firmly grabbed it by the left post. Founex FC's Jirko Kestenholz got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 98th minute Gautier Setz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Celio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Maikolitos had played much better football throughout.
