Marner TV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raphael Gabler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 19th match minute, Capinas AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guto Vale to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Raphael Gabler's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Simão Terra was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. Simão Terra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thilo Schütz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nestor Castro during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nestor Castro kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Constantin Oettinger was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 39 minutes into the match. In the 38th minute, one of Marner TV:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Marner TV. Thilo Schütz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simão Terra having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edu Salgado made a kick off. Edu Salgado hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thilo Schütz got free with Simão Terra in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Capinas AD's Simão Terra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tino Runde in the 90th minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Capinas AD's goalkeeper Simão Terra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thilo Schütz. Guto Vale charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Guto Vale the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When the match was over Marner TV could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Capinas AD throughout the match.
