In the 12th minute, Duran Gazir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 15 minutes into the match, Novosibirsk FC's goal looked a bit too open when Latif Canalp came free, but David Kiyashko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 17 minutes into the game, Leonid Duvanov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Novosibirsk FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MACKASPOR the free kick. The supporters of MACKASPOR booed when Novosibirsk FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonid Duvanov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Duran Gazir hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Abayhan Pakkan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in MACKASPOR's zone, Timur Kulakov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ferit Akdemir came out of the goal and Timur Kulakov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 35th match minute, MACKASPOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eray Pekinturk to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Timur Kulakov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Novosibirsk FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Timur Kulakov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ferit Akdemir breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 39 minutes, Eray Pekinturk mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MACKASPOR and the Novosibirsk FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 40th minute, Eray Pekinturk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gleb Godzevich received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Ferit Akdemir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Çakabey Erdemir was the one to do the kick off. Ferit Akdemir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gleb Godzevich, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gleb Godzevich fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferit Akdemir having to interfere. David Kiyashko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Çakabey Erdemir, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Abayhan Pakkan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without David Kiyashko having to make a save. Çakabey Erdemir took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised David Kiyashko. David Kiyashko dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After 67 minutes of play, MACKASPOR's Abayhan Pakkan made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. David Kiyashko was left in no man's land by his defense there! Abayhan Pakkan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Timur Kulakov's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ferit Akdemir firmly grabbed it by the left post. Abayhan Pakkan might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over David Kiyashko. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abayhan Pakkan ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Çakabey Erdemir managed to get in a good position for a shot.
