An unexpectedly hard shot by Temel Balkar in the 7th minute of play forced Guayana FC's goalkeeper Bermund Barcelo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Şakir Yücel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romeo Garmendia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Şakir Yücel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saul Chimeno, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. After a rather tough play, Kale fk's Vefa İncili got a free kick in the 12th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Romeo Garmendia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Şakir Yücel. Kale fk's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Romeo Garmendia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The supporters of Kale fk booed when Guayana FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Onofre Naveros didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th match minute, Kale fk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hulki Usalp to maneuver through the defense. If Saul Chimeno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kale fk's Şakir Yücel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erubiel Somarriba in the 34th minute of play. Şakir Yücel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Romeo Garmendia's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. After having played for 41 minutes, Romeo Garmendia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guayana FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Romeo Garmendia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Jacindo Antia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guayana FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jacindo Antia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Şakir Yücel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kale fk's Şakir Yücel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romeo Garmendia in the 45th minute of play. In the 47th minute, Sixto Armentia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Şakir Yücel was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
54 minutes into the match, Kale fk's Fırat Remiz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bermund Barcelo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Fırat Remiz came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Kale fk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fırat Remiz couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Kale fk booed when Guayana FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salvador Vijil didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Şakir Yücel managed to avoid a goal in the 65thth minute, when Guayana FC's Romeo Garmendia fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Kale fk's Şakir Yücel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romeo Garmendia in the 66th minute of play. In the 73rd minute Temel Balkar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bermund Barcelo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Kale fk's Şakir Yücel got control of the ball when Romeo Garmendia tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sixto Armentia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Şakir Yücel having to interfere. Şakir Yücel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Romeo Garmendia went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. In the 96th match minute, Guayana FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salvador Vijil to maneuver through the defense.
