Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Romeo Garmendia kicked off to start the match. Alberto Barcelos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Bermund Barcelo made a huge save. In the 9th minute, Valente Rapela ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Filipe Dias was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 13 played minutes Guayana FC got a freekick which was hit by Romeo Garmendia. David Lameirinhas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 17th match minute, Ciborro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sabino Eanes to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 18 minutes, Erubiel Somarriba managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guayana FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erubiel Somarriba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Filipe Dias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romeo Garmendia in the 21st minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Ciborro's Sabino Eanes seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Sabino Eanes the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Ciborro protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Sabino Eanes had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 23 minutes into the game, one of Ciborro:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Filipe Dias had in the 25thth minute some difficulties stopping Erubiel Somarriba's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Jacindo Antia might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Filipe Dias. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jacindo Antia ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 29th minute, Amílcar Salvado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alberto Barcelos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Bermund Barcelo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, Ciborro's goal looked a bit too open when Romeo Garmendia came free, but Filipe Dias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Guayana FC's Valente Rapela got a free kick in the 41st minute. In the 44th minute, Saul Chimeno had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. 44 minutes into the game, Amílcar Salvado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ciborro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guayana FC the free kick. Amílcar Salvado kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After the first half Guayana FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Alberto Barcelos made the kick off in the second half. Filipe Dias made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valente Rapela in the 54th minute. In the 59th minute, Romeo Garmendia made a precise shot to the right of Filipe Dias. Ciborro's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Valente Rapela hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. If Alberto Barcelos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Romeo Garmendia struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Filipe Dias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guayana FC. In the 78th minute of the match Salvador Vijil sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Filipe Dias skillfully saved the ball. Salvador Vijil charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Salvador Vijil the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Salvador Vijil hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. The Ciborro supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Guayana FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Guayana FC.
