The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 7 minutes into the match, Jacindo Antia dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ferit Akdemir, 2-0. After 11 minutes of play, MACKASPOR's Latif Canalp made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bermund Barcelo was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 13th match minute, MACKASPOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Talat Dengiz to maneuver through the defense. Bermund Barcelo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Güney Polat in the 19th minute of the match. If Güney Polat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 28 minutes into the game, Çakabey Erdemir cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Bermund Barcelo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Güney Polat came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the MACKASPOR fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Güney Polat couldn't finish the play. In the 34th minute, Murathan Yücetekin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 43 played minutes Guayana FC got a freekick which was hit by Lucio Menoyo. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Güney Polat to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Guayana FC's goalkeeper Bermund Barcelo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Talat Dengiz. Guayana FC's Bermund Barcelo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Guayana FC from getting a goal against them. MACKASPOR were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after Guayana FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Duran Gazir took the corner. An unexpected shot in the 60th minute by Latif Canalp got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 61st minute, Latif Canalp left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MACKASPOR fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-5. In the 65th minute, Güney Polat made a precise shot to the right of Bermund Barcelo. Guayana FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-6. If Talat Dengiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bermund Barcelo made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Güney Polat sent off a good shot on target. 73 minutes into the game, one of Guayana FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave MACKASPOR a penalty, 76 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Duran Gazir, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Guayana FC's Bermund Barcelo. 2-7. 81 minutes into the match, MACKASPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Romeo Garmendia came free, but Ferit Akdemir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Selman Ogün hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Bermund Barcelo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emin Özçınar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emin Özçınar took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bermund Barcelo. Bermund Barcelo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-8. Müslüm Hacıbeyoğlus short, quick shot in the 92ndth minute got Bermund Barcelo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, Guayana FC's Valdo Lejarazu got a free kick in the 95th minute. MACKASPOR's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
