Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kléberson Lucas charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kléberson Lucas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 3 played minutes Malu got a freekick which was hit by Kléberson Lucas. If Bruninho Macedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Olavo de Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Enrique Secco took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 18th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Elivélton Porto. Capinas AD's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Capinas AD's Bruninho Macedo got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 25th minute Bruninho Macedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nico Campidelis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Malu's Virgílio Favoretto got a free kick in the 30th minute. Elivélton Porto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cipriano Passos in the 31st minute of play. Capinas AD's Elivélton Porto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kauã Rezende in the 40th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 43rd minute by Olavo de Almeida got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a rather tough play, Malu's Virgílio Favoretto got a free kick in the 44th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bruninho Macedo was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Malu getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Hudson Oliveira hit a great ball. Kauã Rezende received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Elivélton Porto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kauã Rezendes short, quick shot in the 56thth minute got Elivélton Porto to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Malu booed when Capinas AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olavo de Almeida didn't get a good kick on the ball. Malu's Nico Campidelis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Décio Maciel in the 65th minute of play. In the 67th minute, Enrique Secco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 69th minute Décio Maciel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nico Campidelis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 72nd match minute, Malu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hudson Oliveira to maneuver through the defense. Cipriano Passos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elivélton Porto having to interfere. Cipriano Passos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th minute Cipriano Passos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elivélton Porto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cipriano Passos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elivélton Porto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Nico Campidelis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruninho Macedo in the 90th minute of play. After having played for 93 minutes, Décio Maciel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Capinas AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Décio Maciel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Kauã Rezende came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Malu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kauã Rezende couldn't finish the play. Capinas AD's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
