QUASAR AZULGRANA's defense didn't have a chance, in the 4th minute, when M. Agus Young scored to the left of an out of position Virgilio Jerold, making the score, 1-0. 6 minutes into the match, QUASAR AZULGRANA's goalkeeper Virgilio Jerold had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by M. Agus Young. A collision led to QUASAR AZULGRANA getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Mannie Calle hit a great ball. 17 minutes into the match, Santa Lucia de Merlo's goal looked a bit too open when Humberto Gartxot came free, but Norberto Tino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Federigo in the 22nd minute of play forced Santa Lucia de Merlo's goalkeeper Norberto Tino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the game, Oscar Guerrero threw the ball into play from the sideline. Santa Lucia de Merlo's Pascal Som quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 30 minutes into the match, Santa Lucia de Merlo's goal looked a bit too open when Eriberto Lizer came free, but Norberto Tino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Norberto Tino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when M. Agus Young stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, M. Agus Young made a precise shot to the right of Virgilio Jerold. QUASAR AZULGRANA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Virgilio Jerold took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from M. Agus Young, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Polo Quinteros might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Virgilio Jerold. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Polo Quinteros ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 74th minute Polo Quinteros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgilio Jerold saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anier Gaspard got free with Norberto Tino in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 90 played minutes Santa Lucia de Merlo got a freekick which was hit by Hernan Louis. For all the effort they put into the match, the QUASAR AZULGRANA players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Santa Lucia de Merlo.
