Club Atletico Talleres's Sérgio Madruga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaston Zárate in the 11th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Gaston Zárate made a precise shot to the right of Sérgio Madruga. Club Atletico Talleres's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Cristo Verdu was slow to take the kick. During this time Zacisze Częstochowa's players had a chance to rest. A well done corner resulted in Gaston Zárate drilling the ball in to score 0-4 behind Club Atletico Talleres's goalkeeper. Sérgio Madruga came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Zacisze Częstochowa's Jurand Cempa. But to his dismay, Jurand Cempa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Sérgio Madruga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jurand Cempa in the 38th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Zacisze Częstochowa's Jurand Cempa got a free kick in the 39th minute. Jurand Cempa stood ready after the free kick and tried to head the ball into the goal, but got pushed from behind by one of Club Atletico Talleres's defenders and the ball went out. Zacisze Częstochowa appealed in vain for a penalty, the referee looked over at the linesman, but the flag stayed down. No Penalty. If Cristo Verdu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anacleto Berenguer to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute of the match Zacisze Częstochowa got a corner. Club Atletico Talleres's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cristo Verdu ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a rather tough play, Zacisze Częstochowa's Gaston Zárate got a free kick in the 55th minute. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Jurand Cempa put it in 0-6 from a short distance just to the right of Sérgio Madruga. Zacisze Częstochowa's Akif Yetik was substituted for Maksymilian Drapinski. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atletico Talleres's zone, Damaso Alonso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sérgio Madruga came out of the goal and Damaso Alonso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zacisze Częstochowa made a substitution. Przemyslaw Maldini replaced Gonzalo Firme. Jurand Cempa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Sérgio Madruga made a huge save. The corner led Zacisze Częstochowa's Cristo Verdu to fire away a dangerous shot which Sérgio Madruga despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A collision led to Zacisze Częstochowa getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Damaso Alonso hit a great ball. In the 79th minute Jurand Cempa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sérgio Madruga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 81st match minute, Zacisze Częstochowa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Przemyslaw Maldini to maneuver through the defense. Gaston Zárate received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Sérgio Madruga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dimitrie Sluis made in the 93rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Zacisze Częstochowa's Damaso Alonso.
