Evert Ahlrot showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Alex Lundkvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Faustino Cedro's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. When 汪常然 came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the LOS MENTI fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 汪常然 couldn't finish the play. Alex Lundkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco George in the 9th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Marco George ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alex Lundkvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Şenol Güneş showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frans Valrot in the 13th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Evert Ahlrot in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Şenol Güneş prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alex Lundkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faustino Cedro in the 18th minute of play. In the 19th minute Frans Valrot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şenol Güneş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Şenol Güneş took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frans Valrot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Meadow Village's Alex Lundkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 汪常然 in the 23rd minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 汪常然 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Frans Valrot's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Şenol Güneş was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Şenol Güneş took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jarbas Sabóia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of LOS MENTI booed when Meadow Village was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Israel Polak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alex Lundkvist made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when 汪常然 sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the LOS MENTI defense, Evert Ahlrot kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Şenol Güneş. The LOS MENTI fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Şenol Güneş should have stopped the shot. For all the effort they put into the match, the LOS MENTI players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Meadow Village.
