In the 12th minute Serginho Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tony Chaves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tony Chaves came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Atletico Calamar Saavedra's Ruperto Txomin. But to his dismay, Ruperto Txomin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After 20 played minutes SE Palestra Itália got a freekick which was hit by Cristóvão Madureira. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benjy Dreher during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 24th match minute, Atletico Calamar Saavedra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjy Dreher to maneuver through the defense. Tony Chaves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serginho Silva in the 26th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Fulgencio Nel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atletico Calamar Saavedra's supporters rose to their feet, but Fulgencio Nel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ruperto Txomin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Ruperto Txomin came up free with the goalie in the 50th minute, the Atletico Calamar Saavedra fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ruperto Txomin couldn't finish the play. Rodriguinho Abraão charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rodriguinho Abraão the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, SE Palestra Itália's Rodriguinho Abraão got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Tony Chaves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serginho Silva in the 54th minute of the match.
