Tim Johnstone made an important save on a dangerous shot by 汪常然 in the 5th minute. Isaac Bond hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 13 minutes, Tim Johnstone successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 15 minutes The Tigers's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was David Gagriel who took care of the corner kick. The corner led LOS MENTI's Simon Oliverios to fire away a dangerous shot which Tim Johnstone despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After having played for 20 minutes, Frankie Brookes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Tigers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frankie Brookes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 31 minutes into the match, The Tigers's goal looked a bit too open when Marco George came free, but Tim Johnstone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, The Tigers's Carl Downes got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Şenol Güneş showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Owen Noble in the 35th minute of the match. In the 37th minute Carl Downes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şenol Güneş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to The Tigers getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Tyrone Meehan hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, The Tigers's Isaac Bond got a free kick in the 45th minute. Tim Johnstone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco George, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carl Downes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tyrone Meehan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. LOS MENTI's Şenol Güneş played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carl Downes in the 57th minute of play. Frankie Brookes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Şenol Güneş tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carl Downes in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Şenol Güneş prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tim Johnstone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 汪常然, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Şenol Güneş showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carl Downes in the 74th minute of the match. Tim Johnstone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco George in the 75th minute of play. Tyrone Meehan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute.
