Cees Hermensen made in the 9th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Dirk van Dessel immediately put the ball in play. A collision led to ASC South United getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Wesley Eringa hit a great ball. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind ASC South United's goalkeeper Erwin Teesing, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 18th minute, Brothers of Mercy's Ulf Öfverman ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Erwin Teesing. Erwin Teesing yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 21 minutes into the match, Ulf Öfverman dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Erwin Teesing, 2-0. Bengt-Rune Strömbom could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Erwin Teesing made a huge save. Erwin Teesing showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulf Öfverman in the 29th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, ASC South United's goalkeeper Erwin Teesing had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ulf Öfverman. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ulf Öfverman in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erwin Teesing saved ASC South United from getting behind. In the 41st minute Bengt-Rune Strömbom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erwin Teesing saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Bengt-Rune Strömbom left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Brothers of Mercy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. 46 minutes into the match, Ulf Öfverman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Erwin Teesing. ASC South United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ulf Öfverman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bengt-Rune Strömbom made a kick off. Erwin Teesing showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulf Öfverman, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. 56 minutes into the match, Ulf Öfverman notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of ASC South United's Erwin Teesing. Erwin Teesing was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind ASC South United's goalkeeper Erwin Teesing, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 71stth minute of the game Ulf Öfverman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ASC South United's Erwin Teesing was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to ASC South United getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Kristian Holst hit a great ball. Ulf Öfverman spun around in front of the goal 81 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of ASC South United's goal. After a defensive mix-up in Brothers of Mercy's zone, Taco Scholte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexandre Pires came out of the goal and Taco Scholte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the ASC South United defense, Ulf Öfverman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Erwin Teesing. The ASC South United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erwin Teesing should have stopped the shot. Ulf Öfverman took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Erwin Teesing. Erwin Teesing dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. There was no doubt that Brothers of Mercy were the better team. Brothers of Mercy's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
