An unexpected shot in the 17th minute by Cees Hermensen got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Cees Hermensen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mansour Buffon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. 21 minutes into the game, Reimundo Lagunas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Juventus FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ASC South United the free kick. Thanks to some nice moves Cees Hermensen could shoot a difficult shot in the 25th minute, which Mansour Buffon however easily saved by the left post. In the 27th match minute, Juventus FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Quentin Obis to maneuver through the defense. 29 minutes into the match, Juventus FC's goalkeeper Mansour Buffon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cees Hermensen. Mansour Buffon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Bender, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Tonnie Cales fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ASC South United's protests and gave Tonnie Cales a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 35th minute of the game. One of ASC South United:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Juventus FC:s goal. The audience was convinced that Mansour Trezeguet's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Erwin Teesing was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. After 42 played minutes ASC South United got a freekick which was hit by Stijn Otten. After having played for 43 minutes, Zoel Sierra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Juventus FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zoel Sierra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, ASC South United's Hugo Bender got a free kick in the 44th minute. ASC South United's Erwin Teesing played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mansour Trezeguet in the 45th minute of play. Stijn Otten got his second yellow card in the match during the 45th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 46th match minute, ASC South United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stijn Otten to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mansour Trezeguet made a kick off. If Zoel Sierra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Cees Hermensen managed to get in a good position for a shot. ASC South United's supporters rose to their feet, but Cees Hermensen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mansour Buffon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Boniel Ballesteros fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Juventus FC's protests and gave Boniel Ballesteros a yellow card for diving instead. Boniel Ballesteros hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Juventus FC's Víctor Huarte got a free kick in the 57th minute. 65 minutes into the game, Juventus FC's Mansour Trezeguet nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Erwin Teesing made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. If Dirk van Dessel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After taking down the ball on ASC South United's corner Hugo Bender fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Mansour Buffon quite easily take care of the ball. ASC South United's Cees Hermensen got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Juventus FC's Aketza Quesada got a free kick in the 78th minute. 79 minutes into the match, ASC South United's Hugo Bender broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Cees Hermensen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chants of Juventus FC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as ASC South United had held the ball for most of the match.
