The referee showed Honorio Villar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Juventus FC booed when Nàstic de Tarragona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Honorio Villar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nàstic de Tarragona's Saturnino Ladra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mansour Trezeguet in the 14th minute of play. If Andrei Lupu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Víctor Huarte charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Víctor Huarte the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 22nd minute, Víctor Huarte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 24 minutes into the game, Andrei Lupu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Mansour Buffon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nàstic de Tarragona's Honorio Villar got his second yellow card of the match in the 30th minute. The referee ordered Honorio Villar off the ground. Honorio Villar kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Andrei Lupu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mansour Buffon having to make a save. Andrei Lupu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Mansour Buffon made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Javi Bonilla in the 35th minute of play forced Juventus FC's goalkeeper Mansour Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute of the match Nàstic de Tarragona got a corner. Juventus FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zoel Sierra got free with Saturnino Ladra in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mansour Buffon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andrei Lupu's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Saturnino Ladra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mansour Trezeguet in the 66th minute of play. Rufo Vazquez kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the match, Nàstic de Tarragona's Andrei Lupu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mansour Buffon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Andrei Lupu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nàstic de Tarragona's supporters rose to their feet, but Andrei Lupu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mansour Buffon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mansour Buffon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Andrei Lupu went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. After 78 played minutes, Juventus FC's Quentin Obis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Saturnino Ladra came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Juventus FC reached it. In the 79th match minute, Juventus FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reimundo Lagunas to maneuver through the defense. 81 minutes into the match, Andrei Lupu notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Juventus FC's Mansour Buffon. Mansour Buffon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Andrei Lupu might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mansour Buffon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andrei Lupu ran back to his position shaking his head. Juventus FC's Mansour Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrei Lupu in the 85th minute of play. In the 87th minute Andrei Lupu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mansour Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Andrei Lupu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nàstic de Tarragona fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. After some careless play in the Juventus FC defense, Andrei Lupu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mansour Buffon. The Juventus FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mansour Buffon should have stopped the shot. Nàstic de Tarragona were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Juventus FC for a fine match.
