After a rather tough play, ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ Β's Giannis Soulios got a free kick in the 21st minute. Bengt-Rune Strömbom hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. The supporters of ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ Β booed when Brothers of Mercy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thiago van Dijk didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Prodromos Karalis during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 33 minutes into the game, Mats Elg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Dimosthenis Mallios was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dimosthenis Mallios didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bengt-Rune Strömbom went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. The supporters of ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ Β booed when Brothers of Mercy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Odeen didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ulf Öfverman in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dimosthenis Mallios saved ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ Β from getting behind. 44 minutes into the game, Mats Elg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Dimosthenis Mallios was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 48th match minute, ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ Β was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giannis Soulios to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bengt-Rune Strömbom to make the kick off. Brothers of Mercy's Dan Björk quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Stelios Stathakos, made in the 54th minute of the game. When Brothers of Mercy's Ulf Öfverman in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Brothers of Mercy's Erramu Chute was substituted for Bengt-Rune Strömbom. 72 minutes into the match, ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ Β's goalkeeper Dimosthenis Mallios had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Erramu Chute. ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ Β's defense didn't have a chance, in the 76th minute, when Kieran Robertson scored to the left of an out of position Dimosthenis Mallios, making the score, 0-8. Erramu Chute struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Dimosthenis Mallios didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brothers of Mercy. Dimosthenis Mallios was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ulf Öfverman showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-9 in the 81 minute of play. After 84 minutes of play, Brothers of Mercy's Ulf Öfverman made it 0-10 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dimosthenis Mallios was left in no man's land by his defense there! 87 minutes into the match, Ulf Öfverman notched a goal, 0-11, to the right of ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ Β's Dimosthenis Mallios. Dimosthenis Mallios was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 91st match minute, Brothers of Mercy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Odeen to maneuver through the defense. In the 94th minute, Ulf Öfverman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dimosthenis Mallios was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-12. After 97 minutes, Ulf Öfverman made it 0-13 with a short kick to the right side. ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ Β's Dimosthenis Mallios tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ Β fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Brothers of Mercy were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
