In the 9th minute of the match, Patrick Cerezo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Erwin Teesing was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 11 minutes into the match, ASC South United's goal looked a bit too open when Patrick Cerezo came free, but Erwin Teesing reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Patrick Cerezo in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erwin Teesing prevented the ball from getting in the gole. ASC South United's Erwin Teesing played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrick Cerezo in the 15th minute of play. The Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ fans' excitement grew in the 21st match minute when Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's Patrick Cerezo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Erwin Teesing made an important save on a dangerous shot by Patrick Cerezo in the 25th minute. When Marquinhos Baiano fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's protests and gave Marquinhos Baiano a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Marquinhos Baiano hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Patrick Cerezo in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erwin Teesing saved ASC South United from getting behind. Hugo Bender fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Gustavo Hermes having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Patrick Cerezo in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erwin Teesing prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 37th minute Patrick Cerezo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erwin Teesing saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, ASC South United's Taco Scholte got a free kick in the 37th minute. Patrick Cerezo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 38thth minute tested the skills of Erwin Teesing when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Patrick Cerezo was the one to do the kick off. ASC South United's Erwin Teesing played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrick Cerezo in the 51st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Patrick Cerezo in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erwin Teesing saved ASC South United from getting behind. Hugo Bender was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 53rd minute. ASC South United's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Christian Cardozo hit a great ball. The supporters of Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ booed when ASC South United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Taco Scholte didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Patrick Cerezo in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Erwin Teesing showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flávio Toledo, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Noel Araújo made a great header on Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's corner, it was just that ASC South United's Erwin Teesing managed to reach the ball for a save. A collision led to Nabucodonosor E.C. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ's Luís Gustavo Hermes got control of the ball when Cees Hermensen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Christian Cardozo got his second yellow card in the match during the 94th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Christian Cardozo hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Nabucodonosor E.C. FPRMZ were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of ASC South United for a fine match.
