Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Andrei Lupu started the match with the kick off. In the 8th minute, Andrei Lupu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nikolas Karkamanis came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Nàstic de Tarragona's Andrei Lupu. But to his dismay, Andrei Lupu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 16th match minute, Nàstic de Tarragona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrei Lupu to maneuver through the defense. Panos Spyroulis took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 17th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Saturnino Ladra. Nàstic de Tarragona's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 18 played minutes Nàstic de Tarragona got a freekick which was hit by Matia Camara. After 19 played minutes, Atletico de Madrid's Nikos Papapanagiotou shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Saturnino Ladra came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Atletico de Madrid reached it. After 23 played minutes Atletico de Madrid got a freekick which was hit by Kostas Papadatos. In the 25th minute, Nàstic de Tarragona's José Ucero dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Nàstic de Tarragona's Saturnino Ladra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dimitris Maros in the 31st minute of play. Andrei Lupu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Saturnino Ladra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emmanouil Kalivas in the 37th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Nàstic de Tarragona's Andrei Lupu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nikolas Karkamanis. That made the score 3-0 after 38 minutes of play. Andrei Lupu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Nikolas Karkamanis made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Atletico de Madrid's zone, Andrei Lupu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nikolas Karkamanis came out of the goal and Andrei Lupu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

When Andrei Lupu came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Nàstic de Tarragona fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andrei Lupu couldn't finish the play. When the match clock showed 54 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Andrei Lupu sped through Atletico de Madrid's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nikolas Karkamanis. In the 58th minute, Honorio Villar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nàstic de Tarragona fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. After a rather tough play, Nàstic de Tarragona's José Ucero got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Atletico de Madrid's Panos Spyroulis couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Nàstic de Tarragona. With an all-out effort, Atletico de Madrid's Saturnino Ladra threw himself towards the right post 65 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dimitris Maros, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Andrei Lupu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A sloppy throw-in by Kostas Papadatos in the 71st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Nàstic de Tarragona's Roldán Pascual. Nikolas Karkamanis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrei Lupu in the 76th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Boleslaw Czajkowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 82nd minute, Andrei Lupu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nàstic de Tarragona fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Saturnino Ladra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emmanouil Kalivas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 91 minutes into the game, José Ucero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nàstic de Tarragona's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atletico de Madrid the free kick. After 91 played minutes Nàstic de Tarragona got a freekick which was hit by José Ucero. In the 92nd match minute, Nàstic de Tarragona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boleslaw Czajkowski to maneuver through the defense. Kostas Papadatos missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 94 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Saturnino Ladra right hand side. Nàstic de Tarragona were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Atletico de Madrid for a fine match.
