In the 3rd minute, Vivaldo Munhoz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 7 minutes into the match, Diamonds FC's goalkeeper Alberto Catarinense had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cees Hermensen. If Cees Hermensen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 13 minutes into the match, ASC South United's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Paquette came free, but Erwin Teesing reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cees Hermensen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Catarinense having to interfere. A collision led to Diamonds FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Thiago Silva hit a great ball. In the 19th minute, Cees Hermensen made a precise shot to the right of Alberto Catarinense. Diamonds FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 22 minutes into the game, Hugo Bender lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Alberto Catarinense. 25 minutes into the match, ASC South United's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Paquette came free, but Erwin Teesing reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Lucas Paquette had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 28 minutes into the match, Diamonds FC's goalkeeper Alberto Catarinense had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cees Hermensen. Alberto Catarinense made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cees Hermensen in the 33rd minute. After 33 minutes, Nuno Massa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Diamonds FC and the ASC South United players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nuno Massa kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Cees Hermensen managed to get in a good position for a shot. ASC South United's supporters rose to their feet, but Cees Hermensen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alberto Catarinense breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Diamonds FC's Alberto Catarinense proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Diamonds FC from getting a goal against them. Cees Hermensen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Alberto Catarinense made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Diamonds FC's zone, Hugo Bender stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alberto Catarinense came out of the goal and Hugo Bender tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Cees Hermensen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 69th minute, Francisco Tavares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 70 minutes into the match, Diamonds FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cees Hermensen came free, but Alberto Catarinense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Diamonds FC's zone, Cees Hermensen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alberto Catarinense came out of the goal and Cees Hermensen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hugo Bender received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Alberto Catarinense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Taco Scholte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cees Hermensen struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Alberto Catarinense didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ASC South United. ASC South United's Cees Hermensen got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 84 minutes into the match, Diamonds FC's goal looked a bit too open when Taco Scholte came free, but Alberto Catarinense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 86 minutes into the game, Cees Hermensen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Alberto Catarinense was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mirko Stuijvenberg came free in the 93rd minute and tried to tip the ball over Alberto Catarinense, but to the joy of Diamonds FC's supporters the ball went over. Nico Pereira struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Erwin Teesing didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Diamonds FC. After 96 minutes of play, ASC South United's Taco Scholte made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alberto Catarinense was left in no man's land by his defense there! ASC South United's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
