When Brothers of Mercy's Ulf Öfverman in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Åhus Absolut F.C's goalie prevented a goal. After 5 minutes Åhus Absolut F.C's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jörn Matsson who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Brothers of Mercy's Ulf Öfverman to a score. 0-1 in the 5th minute. Brothers of Mercy were awarded a corner in the 10th minute after Åhus Absolut F.C's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jörn Matsson took the corner. King Skott's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 16thth minute, Alexandre Pires skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Alexandre Pires made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from King Skott in the 18th minute of play. In the 21st minute Ulf Öfverman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sverker Tönnberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulf Öfverman in the 23rd minute of play forced Åhus Absolut F.C's goalkeeper Sverker Tönnberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Åhus Absolut F.C defense, Ulf Öfverman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sverker Tönnberg. The Åhus Absolut F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sverker Tönnberg should have stopped the shot. With an all-out effort, Åhus Absolut F.C's Alexandre Pires threw himself towards the right post 30 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from King Skott, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 35 played minutes Åhus Absolut F.C got a freekick which was hit by Joel Bollström. A collision led to Brothers of Mercy getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Leonardo Odeen hit a great ball. Alexandre Pires took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from King Skott, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th match minute, Brothers of Mercy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulf Öfverman to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jan-Olof Bergendahl got free with Alexandre Pires in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bengt-Rune Strömbom to strike the kick off in the second half. Mats Elg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sverker Tönnberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mats Elg in the 57th minute of play. In the 59th minute, Jörn Matsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Åhus Absolut F.C's Sverker Tönnberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Åhus Absolut F.C from getting a goal against them. Claes Brander hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Mats Elg was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 69th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Erramu Chute could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Sverker Tönnberg made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Erramu Chute put it in 1-4 from a short distance just to the right of Sverker Tönnberg. 81 minutes into the match, Åhus Absolut F.C's goalkeeper Sverker Tönnberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ulf Öfverman. After a rather tough play, Åhus Absolut F.C's Isac Bäcklin got a free kick in the 84th minute. Sverker Tönnberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulf Öfverman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alexandre Pires showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from King Skott in the 87th minute of the match. After 88 played minutes Brothers of Mercy got a freekick which was hit by Antaios Tsangaris. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulf Öfverman in the 94th minute of play forced Åhus Absolut F.C's goalkeeper Sverker Tönnberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 95 minutes into the game, Joel Bollström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Åhus Absolut F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brothers of Mercy the free kick. Joel Bollström hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Brothers of Mercy had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
