Cees Hermensen kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Wesley Eringa charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Manuel Ovando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Erwin Teesing tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Simoneta FC's Adrian Miliano got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Simoneta FC's Hasret Şahinalp proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Simoneta FC from getting a goal against them. Victorino Dantae fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erwin Teesing having to interfere. After having played for 47 minutes, Hugo Bender managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ASC South United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hugo Bender was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hugo Bender to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adrian Miliano in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erwin Teesing saved ASC South United from getting behind. In the 68th match minute, ASC South United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wesley Eringa to maneuver through the defense. ASC South United's Erwin Teesing played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Miliano in the 71st minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 72 minutes, Erwin Teesing successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Hugo Bender fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ASC South United's protests and gave Hugo Bender a yellow card for diving instead. In the 74th minute, Hugo Bender hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. During the 82nd minute of the match Wesley Eringa completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Wesley Eringa a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Simoneta FC's Amancio Vitin couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 96th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for ASC South United. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
