The Åhus Absolut F.C fans' excitement grew in the 5th match minute when Åhus Absolut F.C's Jan-Olof Bergendahl looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 8 minutes into the match, Folke Hökqvist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sakis Karvouniaris. Glyka Nera FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Folke Hökqvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Sverker Tönnberg made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Vassilis Fragidis sent off a good shot on target. After 15 played minutes Åhus Absolut F.C got a freekick which was hit by King Skott. In the 22nd minute, King Skott hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 24 minutes into the game, Claes Brander was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Åhus Absolut F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Glyka Nera FC the free kick. In the 25th match minute, Åhus Absolut F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claes Brander to maneuver through the defense. Stelios Egomitis, 25 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Sakis Karvouniaris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from King Skott in the 30th minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, King Skott had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sakis Karvouniaris. Glyka Nera FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that King Skott was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Glyka Nera FC's Sakis Karvouniaris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Olof Bergendahl in the 41st minute of play. King Skott scored 0-4 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sakis Karvouniaris, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sakis Karvouniaris came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Åhus Absolut F.C's King Skott. But to his dismay, King Skott quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5.

The wind increased when King Skott made the kick off in the second half. Sakis Karvouniaris was a little too slow when King Skott got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 57th minute. The score was now 0-6. In the 64th match minute, Åhus Absolut F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abbe Alvin to maneuver through the defense. 69 minutes into the match, Åhus Absolut F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Thalis Papaefthimiou came free, but Sverker Tönnberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sakis Karvouniaris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from King Skott, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 73 minutes of play, Åhus Absolut F.C's Folke Hökqvist made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sakis Karvouniaris was left in no man's land by his defense there! 77 minutes into the game, Fivos Touboulis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Glyka Nera FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Åhus Absolut F.C the free kick. In the 77th minute, Fivos Touboulis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sakis Karvouniaris came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Åhus Absolut F.C's King Skott. But to his dismay, King Skott quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. After a rather tough play, Åhus Absolut F.C's King Skott got a free kick in the 84th minute. Glyka Nera FC's Sakis Karvouniaris proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Glyka Nera FC from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Glyka Nera FC's zone, King Skott stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sakis Karvouniaris came out of the goal and King Skott tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 89th minute, Fivos Touboulis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Jan-Olof Bergendahl managed to get in a good position for a shot. Åhus Absolut F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Jan-Olof Bergendahl was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sakis Karvouniaris breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Glyka Nera FC's Sakis Karvouniaris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by King Skott in the 92nd minute of play. 94 minutes into the game, Åhus Absolut F.C's Joel Bollström nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sakis Karvouniaris made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-9. If King Skott had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over Åhus Absolut F.C could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Glyka Nera FC throughout the match.
