Manole Miulescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 4th match minute, Alexandria Team08 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kılıç Özyuva to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Basarab Panciu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alexandria Team08's supporters rose to their feet, but Basarab Panciu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leo Hagberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 20 played minutes Skövde AIK got a freekick which was hit by Krister Uggstedt. Skövde AIK's Leo Hagberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Skövde AIK from getting a goal against them. After 27 played minutes Alexandria Team08 got a freekick which was hit by Kılıç Özyuva. Radu Barbălată showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kurt Hamrin in the 29th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, Skövde AIK's Kurt Hamrin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Radu Barbălată narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Alexandria Team08 booed when Skövde AIK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chen Ao Fan didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Skövde AIK's Leo Hagberg got control of the ball when Marin Dică tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marin Dicăs short, quick shot in the 41stth minute got Leo Hagberg to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Leo Hagberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manole Miulescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leo Hagberg came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by Alexandria Team08's Manole Miulescu. But to his dismay, Manole Miulescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Alexandria Team08's Aykut Aşkın was substituted for Qiu Feng Li. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Marin Dică made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Alexandria Team08's Radu Barbălată got control of the ball when Georg Norström tried to sneak it across the goal line. 57 minutes into the game, Hans Petersson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Skövde AIK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alexandria Team08 the free kick. After a rather tough play, Skövde AIK's Hans Petersson got a free kick in the 58th minute. After some careless play in the Skövde AIK defense, Manole Miulescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leo Hagberg. The Skövde AIK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leo Hagberg should have stopped the shot. In the 64th match minute, Alexandria Team08 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basarab Panciu to maneuver through the defense. In the 67th match minute, Alexandria Team08 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marin Dică to maneuver through the defense. Zhou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Leo Hagberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mma Clan kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Zhou struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Leo Hagberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alexandria Team08. Zhou recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee ended the match the Alexandria Team08 players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
