After a defensive mix-up in Unicorns ™'s zone, Baturay Zaim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Corneliu Vulpăşin came out of the goal and Baturay Zaim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Folke Malmström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Corneliu Vulpăşin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. Baturay Zaim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yılmaz Başdemir in the 13th minute of play forced Unicorns ™'s goalkeeper Corneliu Vulpăşin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yılmaz Başdemir blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Corneliu Vulpăşin having to make a save. In the 17th minute, one of Unicorns ™:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Unicorns ™. Unicorns ™:s Corneliu Vulpăşin showed great skill when he stopped Folke Malmström:s penalty. After a rather tough play, Unicorns ™'s Iustinian Petre got a free kick in the 20th minute. 22 minutes into the match, Unicorns ™'s goal looked a bit too open when Yılmaz Başdemir came free, but Corneliu Vulpăşin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Corneliu Vulpăşin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Vedillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Petrică Ţirpescu got free with Atalan Cebeci in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Corneliu Vulpăşin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baturay Zaim in the 30th minute of the match. After 35 minutes, Aurel Huștiu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Unicorns ™ and the RED KHAGAN players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sebastian Vedillo made a kick off. Corneliu Vulpăşin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Baturay Zaim in the 52nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baturay Zaim got free with Corneliu Vulpăşin in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Unicorns ™'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 57th minute, when Samuel Pereira scored to the left of an out of position Corneliu Vulpăşin, making the score, 0-3. In the 61st minute, Yılmaz Başdemir got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When RED KHAGAN's Sebastian Vedillo in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Corneliu Vulpăşin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yılmaz Başdemir, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Unicorns ™'s Corneliu Vulpăşin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Unicorns ™ from getting a goal against them. RED KHAGAN played a much better game than Unicorns ™ and deserved their victory. The Unicorns ™ players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
