Hector Todor started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, PoWer SC 2K5's Falko Wirtz got a free kick in the 2nd minute. David Rotariu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marin Dică's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. Panait Frânculescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrick Middendorf, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Faustão Abraão's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but David Rotariu was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. Alexandria Team08 were awarded a corner in the 9th minute after PoWer SC 2K5's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Albano Sergi took the corner. David Rotariu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marin Dică, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute, Leroy Kluttig got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Panait Frânculescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrick Middendorf in the 22nd minute of the match. PoWer SC 2K5's David Rotariu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save PoWer SC 2K5 from getting a goal against them. David Rotariu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faustão Abraão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jedrzej Sanocki kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. After 32 minutes, Marin Dică made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. PoWer SC 2K5's David Rotariu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Marin Dică could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but David Rotariu made a huge save. David Rotariu was a little too slow when Basarab Panciu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 46th minute. The score was now 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

A collision led to PoWer SC 2K5 getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Leroy Kluttig hit a great ball. In the 52nd minute, Marin Dică ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. David Rotariu was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Panait Frânculescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hector Todor in the 58th minute of play. Benny Schweinsteiger hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Albano Sergi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alexandria Team08's supporters rose to their feet, but Albano Sergi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Rotariu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leroy Kluttig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Panait Frânculescu having to interfere. The supporters of PoWer SC 2K5 booed when Alexandria Team08 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustaf Svanér didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Alexandria Team08 getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Gustaf Svanér hit a great ball. Alexander Brehme made in the 75th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Leroy Kluttig however managed to control. In the 82nd minute Zhou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Rotariu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zhou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. David Rotariu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexander Brehme made in the 89th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Leroy Kluttig however managed to control. Panait Frânculescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrick Middendorf in the 90th minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Zhou had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of David Rotariu. PoWer SC 2K5's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zhou was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the PoWer SC 2K5 players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Alexandria Team08.
