Ronnie Hellström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sami Zübeyr in the 10th minute of the match. Sami Zübeyr might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ronnie Hellström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sami Zübeyr ran back to his position shaking his head. Skövde AIK's Ronnie Hellström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sami Zübeyr in the 11th minute of play. Ronnie Hellström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sabin Miclauș, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. After 15 minutes Skövde AIK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Vlad Mavrogheni who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on FC Maci -MM-'s corner Martin Costeiantu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ronnie Hellström quite easily take care of the ball. Krister Uggstedt hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute of the match, Kevin Keegan got a very nice opportunity to score, but Tristan Falco was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Ronnie Hellström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sami Zübeyr in the 29th minute of play. Sami Zübeyr struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Ronnie Hellström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Maci -MM-. In the 36th minute of the match FC Maci -MM- got a corner. Skövde AIK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Vlad Mavrogheni ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led FC Maci -MM-'s Vlad Mavrogheni to fire away a dangerous shot which Ronnie Hellström despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With a little luck, FC Maci -MM-'s Tristan Falco got control of the ball when Kevin Keegan tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Skövde AIK's Kurt Hamrin got a free kick in the 39th minute. Igor Czapski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, FC Maci -MM-'s Emanuel Petruescu got a free kick in the 45th minute. Ronnie Hellström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sami Zübeyr in the 47th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

52 minutes into the game, Emanuel Petruescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Maci -MM-'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Skövde AIK the free kick. After a rather tough play, FC Maci -MM-'s Emanuel Petruescu got a free kick in the 52nd minute. 58 minutes into the match, Skövde AIK's goalkeeper Ronnie Hellström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sami Zübeyr. Skövde AIK's Jerry Williams was substituted for Kurt Hamrin. In the 65th minute of the game Krister Uggstedt made a throw-in which Georg Norström played forward. 66 minutes into the match, Skövde AIK's goalkeeper Ronnie Hellström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sami Zübeyr. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Maci -MM-'s goalkeeper Tristan Falco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. FC Maci -MM- made a substitution. Magnus Carlsen replaced Martin Costeiantu. FC Maci -MM-'s Anatoly Karpov was substituted for Igor Czapski. In the 80th minute, Sami Zübeyr got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 81st minute, Egídio Fernandez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emanuel Petruescu hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. After 88 played minutes FC Maci -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Magnus Carlsen. When FC Maci -MM-'s Anatoly Karpov in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Skövde AIK's goalie prevented a goal. The FC Maci -MM- supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Maci -MM- would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
