With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacobo Nores prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Guillermo Osmundo's late challenge caught a Paraguay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After 53 played minutes PATURUZU got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Osmundo. 56 minutes into the match, PATURUZU's goalkeeper Domingos Nerio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jaime Pardo. The PATURUZU fans' excitement grew in the 61st match minute when PATURUZU's Uriel Eneko looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niceto Jerano in the 67th minute of play forced Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th minute, Uriel Eneko ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jacobo Nores was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Jacobo Nores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niceto Jerano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jacobo Nores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimeno Martino in the 80th minute of play. PATURUZU made a substitution. Tadeo Leheren replaced Uriel Eneko. In the 86th minute, Jimeno Martino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tadeo Leheren in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacobo Nores saved Paraguay from getting behind. Jacobo Nores didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Niceto Jerano went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Tadeo Leheren took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jacobo Nores. Jacobo Nores dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. When the referee blew the final whistle, PATURUZU could leave the field as winners, despite Paraguay having more of the ball for most of the match.
