Vânderson Pena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudinei Linares in the 4th minute of play. 5 minutes into the match, THANDERA® FCCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Neeme Juur came free, but Emanuel Van Hoeij reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the THANDERA® FCCMZ defense, Maarek Jaama kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emanuel Van Hoeij. The THANDERA® FCCMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emanuel Van Hoeij should have stopped the shot. Doctor's Vânderson Pena proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Doctor from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Claudinei Linares in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vânderson Pena prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Claudinei Linares's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 16thth minute, Vânderson Pena skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Claudinei Linares in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vânderson Pena saved Doctor from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Claudinei Linares's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vânderson Pena was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. In the 35th minute Maarek Jaama shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Van Hoeij saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Claudinei Linares put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Vânderson Pena. Vânderson Pena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudinei Linares in the 42nd minute of the match. Doctor's Vânderson Pena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinei Linares in the 43rd minute of play. 44 minutes into the game, Claudinei Linares recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vânderson Pena. Claudinei Linares showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. Claudinei Linares charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Claudinei Linares the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Maarek Jaama made the kick off in the second half. THANDERA® FCCMZ's Emanuel Van Hoeij played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Neeme Juur in the 54th minute of play. After 54 minutes of play, Doctor's Neeme Juur made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emanuel Van Hoeij was left in no man's land by his defense there! Doctor made a substitution. Long Stora replaced Neeme Juur. In the 59th minute of the match Maarek Jaama sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Emanuel Van Hoeij skillfully saved the ball. Vânderson Pena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudinei Linares in the 61st minute of play. Emanuel Van Hoeij made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maarek Jaama in the 67th minute of play. 68 minutes had been played when some careless play by THANDERA® FCCMZ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Maarek Jaama was slow to take the kick. During this time Doctor's players had a chance to rest. A well done corner resulted in Crawford Mudie drilling the ball in to score 3-4 behind THANDERA® FCCMZ's goalkeeper. In the 71st minute, Claudinei Linares ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vânderson Pena was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-4. Claudinei Linares blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vânderson Pena having to make a save. Vânderson Pena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silas Vasconcelos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute of the match THANDERA® FCCMZ got a corner. Doctor's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lukas De Smet ran over to the corner to take the kick. When Cássio Marques fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored THANDERA® FCCMZ's protests and gave Cássio Marques a yellow card for diving instead. In the 86th minute, Cássio Marques hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Long Stora fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Van Hoeij having to interfere. A collision led to THANDERA® FCCMZ getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Lukas De Smet hit a great ball. Maarek Jaama sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96th match minute, THANDERA® FCCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lukas De Smet to maneuver through the defense. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
