The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Wen Jie Ting left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Arrows Academy FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 8th minute, Simon Odol got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Marty Simpson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Isac Andberg was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. In the 11th minute of the match Arrows Academy FC got a corner. Fjugesta's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Grzegorz Piechna ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Arrows Academy FC's corner Grzegorz Piechna fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Isac Andberg quite easily take care of the ball. Isac Andberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Stenkvist in the 14th minute of the match. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fjugesta's goalkeeper Isac Andberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Arrows Academy FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Grzegorz Piechna in the 29th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Marty Simpson heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 30 minutes into the match, Arrows Academy FC's goalkeeper Ged Nightingale had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Manfred Västerstrand. Fjugesta were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after Arrows Academy FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ture Dahlbom took the corner. The corner led Fjugesta's Ture Dahlbom to fire away a dangerous shot which Ged Nightingale despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bryan Barron in the 33rd minute of play forced Fjugesta's goalkeeper Isac Andberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 34 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Marty Simpson sped through Fjugesta's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Isac Andberg. A collision led to Fjugesta getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Kurt Mattsson hit a great ball. 45 minutes into the match, Fjugesta's goal looked a bit too open when Wen Jie Ting came free, but Isac Andberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marty Simpson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Isac Andberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Manfred Västerstrand to strike the kick off in the second half. Grzegorz Piechna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Isac Andberg made a huge save. Bryan Barron who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 57thth minute tested the skills of Isac Andberg when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Fjugesta's Kurt Bennet quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Grzegorz Piechna, made in the 63rd minute of the game. After 67 minutes Fjugesta's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Grzegorz Piechna who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Fjugesta's goalie and right to Wen Jie Ting. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Fjugesta's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Isac Andberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marty Simpson in the 70th minute of the match. Grzegorz Piechna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isac Andberg having to interfere. In the 75th minute of the match, Grzegorz Piechna got a very nice opportunity to score, but Isac Andberg was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Stenkvist in the 77th minute of play forced Fjugesta's goalkeeper Isac Andberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Arrows Academy FC's Marty Simpson in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fjugesta's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marty Simpson in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Isac Andberg saved Fjugesta from getting behind. Isac Andberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bryan Barron in the 80th minute of the match. With a little luck, Fjugesta's Isac Andberg got control of the ball when Wen Jie Ting tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fjugesta's attentive Casper Mellberg managed to snatch the ball when Hong Yuan made a throw-in in the 85th minute of the game. In the 86th minute, Connor Pringle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 87 minutes into the match, Arrows Academy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ture Dahlbom came free, but Ged Nightingale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Grzegorz Piechna who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 89thth minute tested the skills of Isac Andberg when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Fjugesta's Isac Andberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Fjugesta from getting a goal against them. Isac Andberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marty Simpson in the 96th minute. Arrows Academy FC played a much better game than Fjugesta and deserved their victory. The Fjugesta players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
