Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Punua's Cristoffer Uchiha started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Caatiba MZC's Jorge Henrique nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adan Rafel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 11 minutes of play, Caatiba MZC's Niceto Ihazintu made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adan Rafel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Adan Rafel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niceto Ihazintu in the 20th minute of play. In the 22nd minute Niceto Ihazintu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adan Rafel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Punua's zone, Niceto Ihazintu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adan Rafel came out of the goal and Niceto Ihazintu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Caatiba MZC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Hector Garofalis hit a great ball. Adan Rafel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niceto Ihazintu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Punua getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Nicolas Sol hit a great ball. If Niceto Ihazintu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 41st minute Caatiba MZC were awarded a corner. Jorge Henrique went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Miguel Lizer got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Adan Rafel quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Niceto Ihazintu made a kick off. Niceto Ihazintu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Adan Rafel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niceto Ihazintu in the 52nd minute of play. If Jorge Henrique had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Punua's Prudencio Bras was substituted for Damaso Gotzon. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prospero Santo in the 65th minute of play forced Caatiba MZC's goalkeeper Ergo Muro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th match minute, Caatiba MZC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Henrique to maneuver through the defense. Punua made a substitution. Mihai Ozon replaced Martin Hug. After a rather tough play, Caatiba MZC's Jorge Henrique got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 71st match minute, Caatiba MZC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natã Siqueira to maneuver through the defense. Niceto Ihazintu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adan Rafel having to make a save. Adan Rafel made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Niceto Ihazintu sent off a good shot on target. In the 82nd minute, Hector Garofalis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Niceto Ihazintu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Adan Rafel made a huge save. Niceto Ihazintu might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adan Rafel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Niceto Ihazintu ran back to his position shaking his head. Adan Rafel made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Niceto Ihazintu sent off a good shot on target. In the 94th minute of the match Caatiba MZC got a corner. Punua's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jorge Henrique ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Caatiba MZC's corner Jorge Henrique fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Adan Rafel quite easily take care of the ball. Caatiba MZC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
