Ergo Muro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Ergo Muro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Betão Cearense in the 20th minute of the match. After 20 played minutes UMBRELLA CORPORATION™ got a freekick which was hit by Betão Cearense. With a little luck, UMBRELLA CORPORATION™'s Wanderson Freire got control of the ball when Niceto Ihazintu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Caatiba MZC's Ergo Muro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnaldo Vergílio in the 26th minute of play. UMBRELLA CORPORATION™'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Niceto Ihazintu scored to the left of an out of position Wanderson Freire, making the score, 2-1. Niceto Ihazintu might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wanderson Freire. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Niceto Ihazintu ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, UMBRELLA CORPORATION™'s Wanderson Freire got control of the ball when Niceto Ihazintu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ergo Muro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karel-Jan De Winter in the 39th minute of play. Ergo Muro came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by UMBRELLA CORPORATION™'s Jos Verduin. But to his dismay, Jos Verduin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnaldo Vergílio in the 43rd minute of play forced Caatiba MZC's goalkeeper Ergo Muro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, UMBRELLA CORPORATION™'s Wanderson Freire got control of the ball when Niceto Ihazintu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ergo Muro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karel-Jan De Winter, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Niceto Ihazintu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Niceto Ihazintu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wanderson Freire having to make a save. Wanderson Freire made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niceto Ihazintu in the 53rd minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, Niceto Ihazintu notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of UMBRELLA CORPORATION™'s Wanderson Freire. Wanderson Freire was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 62nd minute, Niceto Ihazintu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wanderson Freire was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. If Niceto Ihazintu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 67 played minutes Caatiba MZC got a freekick which was hit by Hector Garofalis. After 69 played minutes, UMBRELLA CORPORATION™'s Tomás Rosado shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ergo Muro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in UMBRELLA CORPORATION™ reached it. In the 75th minute Caatiba MZC were awarded a corner. Jorge Henrique went to the cornerflag to take it. UMBRELLA CORPORATION™'s Wanderson Freire played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niceto Ihazintu in the 79th minute of play. Jos Verduin's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ergo Muro firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 86th minute, Niceto Ihazintu made a precise shot to the right of Wanderson Freire. UMBRELLA CORPORATION™'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-2. In the 91st minute, Jorge Henrique hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Caatiba MZC booed when UMBRELLA CORPORATION™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnaldo Vergílio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Caatiba MZC's Valdomiro Ortiz got a free kick in the 94th minute. Caatiba MZC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
