Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Niceto Ihazintu to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Tomb Raider FC's Falcão de Medeiros got a free kick in the 79th minute. Aírton Nogueira made in the 81st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Rodrigo Berger. If Niceto Ihazintu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 85 minutes into the match, Tomb Raider FC's goal looked a bit too open when Niceto Ihazintu came free, but João Pedro Meirelles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Niceto Ihazintu ran back to his position shaking his head. The Tomb Raider FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Caatiba MZC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
