João Pedro Meirelles made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 19th minute of the match Tomb Raider FC got a corner. Doctor's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Filipe Abraão ran over to the corner to take the kick. Filipe Abraão made a great header on Tomb Raider FC's corner, it was just that Doctor's Vânderson Pena managed to reach the ball for a save. João Pedro Meirelles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maarek Jaama in the 22nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Luiz Cordeiro in the 23rd minute of play forced Doctor's goalkeeper Vânderson Pena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. João Pedro Meirelles dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. 30 minutes into the match, Doctor's goal looked a bit too open when Váldson Palmeira came free, but Vânderson Pena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. João Pedro Meirelles made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Maarek Jaama sent off a good shot on target. Vânderson Pena came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Tomb Raider FC's Constantijn Schoovaerts. But to his dismay, Constantijn Schoovaerts quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. In the 38th minute, Pedro Luiz Cordeiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tomb Raider FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. The audience was convinced that Pedro Luiz Cordeiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vânderson Pena was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. 41 minutes into the game, Jeronimo Peli was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vânderson Pena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Luiz Cordeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. With his leg Vânderson Pena managed to avoid a goal in the 61stth minute, when Tomb Raider FC's Pedro Luiz Cordeiro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.
