Ljupče Manić hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Aloísio Vides took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Henrique, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 9 minutes Trece’s FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jorge Henrique who took care of the corner kick. Delfim Bertassi made a great header on Caatiba MZC's corner, it was just that Trece’s FC's Aloísio Vides managed to reach the ball for a save. 12 minutes into the match, Trece’s FC's goal looked a bit too open when Niceto Ihazintu came free, but Aloísio Vides reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aloísio Vides made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niceto Ihazintu in the 16th minute of play. Jorge Henrique might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aloísio Vides. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jorge Henrique ran back to his position shaking his head. If Niceto Ihazintu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Caatiba MZC booed when Trece’s FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iustinian Dincă didn't get a good kick on the ball. Caatiba MZC's Ergo Muro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by William Roca in the 36th minute of play. Aloísio Vides made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niceto Ihazintu in the 38th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Niceto Ihazintu notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Trece’s FC's Aloísio Vides. Aloísio Vides was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Niceto Ihazintu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caatiba MZC's supporters rose to their feet, but Niceto Ihazintu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aloísio Vides breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Valdomiro Ortiz hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After 46 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Caatiba MZC! In the 48th minute, the referee gave Trece’s FC a penalty. William Roca looked confident and blasted the ball into goal by the left post, totally unstoppable for Ergo Muro. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Niceto Ihazintu to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55thth minute of the game William Roca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Caatiba MZC's Ergo Muro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ergo Muro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from William Roca in the 56th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Caatiba MZC's goal looked a bit too open when Iustinian Dincă came free, but Ergo Muro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Boris Bogdanov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ergo Muro having to interfere. Niceto Ihazintu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Aloísio Vides made a huge save. Aloísio Vides made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Niceto Ihazintu sent off a good shot on target. Jorge Henrique struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Aloísio Vides didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caatiba MZC. A collision led to Caatiba MZC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Natã Siqueira hit a great ball. When William Roca came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Trece’s FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that William Roca couldn't finish the play. In the 68th minute, Niceto Ihazintu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 70th minute Iustinian Dincă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ergo Muro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ergo Muro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iustinian Dincă's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. The Trece’s FC fans' excitement grew in the 71st match minute when Trece’s FC's Iustinian Dincă looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Caatiba MZC's Ergo Muro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Fors in the 74th minute of play. 76 minutes had been played when some careless play by Caatiba MZC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. William Roca was slow to take the kick. During this time Trece’s FC's players had a chance to rest. Caatiba MZC's Ergo Muro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iustinian Dincă in the 78th minute of play. In the 79th minute of the match Trece’s FC got a corner. Caatiba MZC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. William Roca ran over to the corner to take the kick. Trece’s FC's William Roca was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ergo Muro in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ergo Muro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from William Roca in the 81st minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Caatiba MZC's Niceto Ihazintu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aloísio Vides narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Trece’s FC's Iustinian Dincă got a free kick in the 84th minute. Aloísio Vides made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niceto Ihazintu in the 85th minute of play. With a little luck, Trece’s FC's Aloísio Vides got control of the ball when Niceto Ihazintu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Trece’s FC's Aloísio Vides proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Trece’s FC from getting a goal against them. In the 97th match minute, Trece’s FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iustinian Dincă to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Jorge Henrique in the 98th minute really tested Aloísio Vides's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
