The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Simoneta FC getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Augusto Tiniebra hit a great ball. 5 minutes had been played when some careless play by Simoneta FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Inocencio Lorien was slow to take the kick. During this time NovaStella FK's players had a chance to rest. Melchor Oxel hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kristoffer Ek in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julian Mannuel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 16 minutes into the game, Marcu Pantelimon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Julian Mannuel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Simoneta FC's Julian Mannuel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kristoffer Ek in the 18th minute of play. A collision led to NovaStella FK getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Marcu Pantelimon hit a great ball. 21 minutes into the match, NovaStella FK's goalkeeper Viktor Häll had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hans Dalström. The supporters of Simoneta FC booed when NovaStella FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronny Odén didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th minute Roman Lluciano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julian Mannuel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Viktor Häll stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Damaso Gustau's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inocencio Lorien in the 33rd minute of play forced Simoneta FC's goalkeeper Julian Mannuel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Simoneta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Roman Lluciano came free, but Julian Mannuel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Augusto Tiniebra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Viktor Häll tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julian Mannuel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kristoffer Ek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute, Kristoffer Ek left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The NovaStella FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hans Dalström to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Tiniebra in the 51st minute of play forced NovaStella FK's goalkeeper Viktor Häll to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roman Lluciano received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Julian Mannuel came out and tried to block the shot, but Roman Lluciano slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 55th minute. Simoneta FC's Rodolfo Iztal was substituted for Jonatan Pancho. Viktor Häll showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Humberto Mitxaut, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Inocencio Lorien's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Julian Mannuel firmly grabbed it by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Inocencio Lorien got free with Julian Mannuel in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Simoneta FC's goalkeeper Julian Mannuel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Julian Mannuel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kristoffer Ek, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 70th minute of the match NovaStella FK got a corner. Simoneta FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Inocencio Lorien ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on NovaStella FK's corner Inocencio Lorien fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julian Mannuel quite easily take care of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Inocencio Lorien got free with Julian Mannuel in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Julian Mannuel was a little too slow when Inocencio Lorien got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 73rd minute. The score was now 0-4. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kristoffer Ek in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julian Mannuel saved Simoneta FC from getting behind. In the 81stth minute of the game Kristoffer Ek who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Simoneta FC's Julian Mannuel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Inocencio Lorien blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julian Mannuel having to make a save. 87 minutes into the match, Simoneta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kristoffer Ek came free, but Julian Mannuel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 92 minutes of play, Simoneta FC's Humberto Mitxaut made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Viktor Häll was left in no man's land by his defense there! Julian Mannuel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Inocencio Lorien in the 95th minute. NovaStella FK played a much better game than Simoneta FC and deserved their victory. The Simoneta FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
