Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jos Verduin started the match with the kick off. Wanderson Freire made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudinei Linares in the 2nd minute of play. In the 6thth minute of the game Jos Verduin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but THANDERA® FCCMZ's Emanuel Van Hoeij was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 10th minute Claudinei Linares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wanderson Freire saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 11th minute of the match THANDERA® FCCMZ got a corner. UMBRELLA CORPORATION™'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lukas De Smet ran over to the corner to take the kick. Emanuel Van Hoeij made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jos Verduin in the 16th minute of play. Tomás Rosado kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Arnaldo Vergílio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emanuel Van Hoeij made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jos Verduin in the 25th minute of play. Jos Verduin took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emanuel Van Hoeij. Emanuel Van Hoeij dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 29 minutes into the match, THANDERA® FCCMZ's Claudinei Linares sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wanderson Freire narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 31stth minute of the game Claudinei Linares who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but UMBRELLA CORPORATION™'s Wanderson Freire was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 31 minutes, Marquinhos de Lara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. THANDERA® FCCMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marquinhos de Lara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When UMBRELLA CORPORATION™'s Jos Verduin in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye THANDERA® FCCMZ's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marquinhos de Lara in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wanderson Freire saved UMBRELLA CORPORATION™ from getting behind. In the 40th minute, THANDERA® FCCMZ's Marquinhos de Lara dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. The supporters of UMBRELLA CORPORATION™ booed when THANDERA® FCCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serafim Proença didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Claudinei Linares made a kick off. After 52 minutes, Lukas De Smet mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the THANDERA® FCCMZ and the UMBRELLA CORPORATION™ players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 54 minutes of play, THANDERA® FCCMZ's Claudinei Linares made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wanderson Freire was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marquinhos de Lara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wanderson Freire stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Silas Vasconcelos's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Wanderson Freire showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marquinhos de Lara in the 61st minute of the match. 61 minutes into the game, Betão Cearense was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. UMBRELLA CORPORATION™'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave THANDERA® FCCMZ the free kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Claudinei Linares managed to get in a good position for a shot. THANDERA® FCCMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Claudinei Linares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wanderson Freire breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 66 minutes UMBRELLA CORPORATION™'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lukas De Smet who took care of the corner kick. Claudinei Linares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 72 minutes into the match, UMBRELLA CORPORATION™'s goal looked a bit too open when Marquinhos de Lara came free, but Wanderson Freire reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jos Verduin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Emanuel Van Hoeij made a huge save. 78 minutes into the game, UMBRELLA CORPORATION™'s Karel-Jan De Winter nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emanuel Van Hoeij made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. In the 81st minute Arnaldo Vergílio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Van Hoeij saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, Arnaldo Vergílio notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of THANDERA® FCCMZ's Emanuel Van Hoeij. Emanuel Van Hoeij was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 86th minute UMBRELLA CORPORATION™ were awarded a corner. Tomás Rosado went to the cornerflag to take it. Arnaldo Vergílio was extremely unlucky when he, in the 88th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Wanderson Freire showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silas Vasconcelos, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. UMBRELLA CORPORATION™'s Wanderson Freire played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silas Vasconcelos in the 95th minute of play. The UMBRELLA CORPORATION™ supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing UMBRELLA CORPORATION™ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
