In the 20th minute of the match, Wilson Morais tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gilles Eekhout saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The wind increased when Jardel Head made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of AC Milan booed when Full Fart Framåt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilles Eekhout stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wilson Morais's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Jardel Head scored 2-3 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joachim Karlsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Joachim Karlsson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Furkan Vargın showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-4 in the 94 minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. AC Milan walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
