The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mohieddine Ayari in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dan Wennerqvist saved Soroca F.C. from getting behind. Dan Wennerqvist came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by CERRO PORTEÑO's Mohieddine Ayari. But to his dismay, Mohieddine Ayari quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Mohieddine Ayari's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dan Wennerqvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Jiang Lei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hernan Lano, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 27thth minute of the game Mohieddine Ayari who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Soroca F.C.'s Dan Wennerqvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 任棋振 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dan Wennerqvist having to interfere. Cyprien Combaz got a throw-in 32 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Adrián Espadas. If Adrián Espadas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jiang Lei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrián Espadas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jiang Lei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrián Espadas, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. 40 minutes into the match, CERRO PORTEÑO's goal looked a bit too open when Adrián Espadas came free, but Jiang Lei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jiang Lei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hernan Lano, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Mohieddine Ayari in the 52nd minute of play forced Soroca F.C.'s goalkeeper Dan Wennerqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dan Wennerqvist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 68 minutes into the match, CERRO PORTEÑO's goalkeeper Jiang Lei had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hernan Lano. Soroca F.C.'s Cyprien Combaz quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Edward Spets, made in the 73rd minute of the game. In the 83rd minute, Răzvan Necula got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. CERRO PORTEÑO's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
