After some careless play in the Jenipapo SC defense, Pavel Balc kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of David Seaman. The Jenipapo SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that David Seaman should have stopped the shot. 31 minutes into the match, Stone City's goal looked a bit too open when Aníbal Alagoano came free, but Dragomir Marchovski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Börje Kämpe fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jenipapo SC's protests and gave Börje Kämpe a yellow card for diving instead. David Seaman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pavel Balc in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 37th minute Stone City were awarded a corner. Dalmacio Rufio went to the cornerflag to take it. Stone City's Mai Yi Xu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but David Seaman in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Dragomir Marchovski had great luck who in the 46thth minute grab hold of the ball when Raphael Cunha from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Stone City's Amanda Ingesson was substituted for Derek Yu. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pavel Balc stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 58 minutes into the match, Stone City's goal looked a bit too open when Raphael Cunha came free, but Dragomir Marchovski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dragomir Marchovski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aníbal Alagoano in the 64th minute of the match. Dragomir Marchovski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raphael Cunha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stone City made a substitution. Jenipapo SC's David Seaman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Jenipapo SC from getting a goal against them. Leon Matthäuss short, quick shot in the 75thth minute got David Seaman to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Leon Matthäus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but David Seaman made a huge save. In the 87th minute, Raphael Cunha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 90th minute, Leon Matthäus reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of David Seaman. The goal made the score 0-2. Jenipapo SC's Aníbal Alagoano got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arsenio Gipuzkoa took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 99th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dragomir Marchovski. Stone City's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the final whistle went the supporters of Stone City were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Jenipapo SC side.
