Soroca F.C.'s Iordanis Karatzaferis was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but David Seaman in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. David Seaman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hernan Lano in the 9th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the game, Aníbal Alagoano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0.
