Adrián Espadas might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Denis Paulin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adrián Espadas ran back to his position shaking his head. Adrián Espadas took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Denis Paulin. Denis Paulin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 32nd minute Uriel Ferrer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dan Wennerqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 36 played minutes Defensores de Lombroso got a freekick which was hit by Teofilo Esdras. Through an outstanding action, after 41 minutes, Dan Wennerqvist successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Dan Wennerqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uriel Ferrer in the 41st minute of play. With a left leg Denis Paulin saved Defensores de Lombroso from getting behind. 83 minutes into the match, Defensores de Lombroso's goal looked a bit too open when Răzvan Necula came free, but Denis Paulin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st minute Răzvan Necula shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denis Paulin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After taking down the ball on Soroca F.C.'s corner Iordanis Karatzaferis fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Denis Paulin quite easily take care of the ball. The Soroca F.C. players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
